This is a 5 day elk hunt from our camp at 9600 ft. We will pick you up from the airport the day before your elk hunt & return you the day after your elk hunt. If you drive we will meet you in Gunnison & lead you to camp. The guide ratio is 2 hunters per 1 guide. We hunt from 4 wheel drive & ATV’s. The number of licenses are limited so you can expect not to see many hunters in the field with you. Your chances for success are excellent as we have a good number of both Deer & Elk in our area. Our experienced guides and professional cook will be at your service to insure a pleasant and hopefully, successful hunt. Our lodge and bunkhouses are dry, comfortable and we do have a shower for your convenience. A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking for any hunt. Deposits are not refundable. . If not drawn for your scheduled hunt it will be resheduled in an available week the next available year. Deposits can be transferred to another person or for another year or hunt depending on availability. The preference points saved can not be transferred to another hunter. The deadline for the drawing is April 1, 2008. We have a list of our elk hunting references & some recent pictures from our hunts. We can also send a brochure or reference list by e-mail request. We are operating under a Special Use Permit on BLM & the Uncompahgre National Forrest. Now booking deer & elk hunts for 2011—2012 seasons.
