  Muzzleloading, Full Guided Deer & Elk Hunting

     To draw a muzzle loading elk license in 2005 it took 8 preference points. This is a 5 day hunt from our camp at 9500 ft. We will pick you up from the airport or meet you at a sporting goods store in Gunnison the day before your hunt & return you the day after your hunt.

     The guide ratio is 2 hunters per 1 guide. We hunt from from 4 wheel drives & ATV’s. This is the hunt for the rifle hunter who wants to hunt the rut. The number of licenses are limited and you can expect not to see many hunters in the field with you. The deadline for the drawing is April 1, 2008. Your chances for success are excellent as we have a good number of both Deer and Elk in our area. Our experienced guides and professional cook will be at your service to insure a pleasant and hopefully successful hunt.

     Our lodge and bunk houses are modern,dry,comfortable and we do have a shower for your convenience.

Muzzleloading, Semi Guided Deer & Elk Hunting

    This hunt is from the same camp as our full guided hunts. I do not have any drop camps or run a guided hunt at the same time that your group would be hunting.

     For the limited budget of the average hunter this is a real money saver. For half the money of the full guided hunt you can still have a quality hunt without the worries and problems of doing a hunt all on your own. The guide ratio is 1 guide for the whole camp of 4 - 6 hunters, in 1 or 2 groups.

     We will help to make sure you are seeing game or at least hunting in the right areas where the game should be. An important part of this hunt is that we will pack, skin, cape and quarter your game at no extra charge to you.

    You do your own cooking and furnish your own food for your group and your guide. You will also need to furnish your own transportation during your hunt. You are allowed to use ATV's in our area.

         A 50% deposit is required to confirm booking for any hunt. Deposits are not refundable.                                 

    If not drawn for your scheduled hunt it will be resheduled in an available week the next available year. Deposits can be transferred to another person or for another year or hunt depending on availability. The preference points saved can not be transferred to another hunter.
