Deer & Elk Hunting Seasons - 2008 The deadline for the 2008 drawing is April 1, 2008. Applications will be available around February 15 ARCHERY SEASON 2008 August 30 - September 28 MUZZLELOADING 2008 September 13 September 21
Archery licenses for both deer & elk are either sex. Hunt dates for archery season are as follows:
1st week Deer & Elk Hunt August 30 -September 3 Semi Guided 2nd week Deer & Elk Hunt September 6 - September 10, Semi Guided 3rd Archery or Muzzlaloading Deer & Elk Hunt September 13 September 17, Semi Guided Inlines are legal. 4th Deer & Elk Hunt September 24 -September 28, Semi Guided
RIFLE SEASONS AND HUNTS FOR 2008 2nd & 3rd rifle seasons can be combination Deer & Elk hunts 1st Season is October 11-15, 2008 (ELK ONLY - 5 day season) Booking for 2011 1 Hunt October 11 - October 15, Semi Guided 2nd Season Deer & Elk is October 18-26, 2008 (Deer & Elk Combination - 9 day season) Booking for 2011 1 Hunt - 5 days October 18 - October 22, 2008 Semi Guided 3rd Season is November 1-November 7, 2008 Deer & Elk. (Deer & Elk Combination - 7 day season) Booking for 2011 1 Hunt 5 days November 1 - November 5, 2008 Semi Guided 4th Season is November 12 November 16, 2008 Elk Only (Elk Only) - 5 day season) Booking for 2011 1 Hunt 5 days November 12 - November 16 Semi Guided
